Hey! Welcome to Pantser Hacks! My name is Skye and I am a seventeen year old author and Pantser. If you are listening to this out of sheer curiosity of what a Pantser is, keeping reading because I am going to explain. If you already know, well, a refresher is always good.
So most authors can be placed into one of two categories if they aren't a mix of both; Planner and Pantsers like myself. A planner plans out their plot, does all their world building and crafts the characters before they even begin writing. They are masters of foreshadowing and plot twists.
As for Pantsers there is little to no planning involved. We get an idea and run with it, writing by the seat of our pants if you will. Most foreshadowing or plot twists are accidental, come up with on the spot or added in the dreaded rewrite.
